Keeper of the layer

This frog has been hanging out on this air layer for about two months, it has been there every time I check them. This one was the first to show roots by a week and now four weeks later is WAY further along than the others! Just coincidence? Or does this frog know something I don't? Could it be temp, is this layer producing more heat than the others? What do you think?

That's a gnarly-looking frog. He probably does like the heat from the foil.

I've found that these little tree frogs like to hide out underneath some of my trees - those in wooden grow boxes that have slats on the bottom. Have almost squished a few when I went to turn pots. Now I look under them first.

Tree frogs are very cool, they seem to love small potted trees
One of the next few pots I make will have one on it.
