How are you cutting your big drainage holes? looks great!

Standard issue drainage parts!

Looks thicker than it is.

I was using conduit for smaller holes but it's too thick.
I have been looking for a tossed broom like this, the aluminum handles are thin enough to make a good cutter too.

Hey Fellers...

I was cutting a hole today, thinking about how important it may be to note, I only use this at this point with the back fully supported. No feet no walls.

Latest Firing.

Nonsai stuff first.

This is my favorite vase shape. The blue is a Turquoise Glaze, yellow the loclayglaze with rutile, red loclayglaze with iron.

A smaller stout vase, a pinkless pink test and turquoise.

Turquoise on the outside with a Soribe test on the inside.

That smokiness on the bottom, that's what I'm looking for!

Another Vase with mostly loclayglaze, some other accents on the texture. The white is Shell Remnants, first time firing on shells in this kiln. Kelp?

My current favorite Sorce pot, until I empty the well house over the weekend and bring out the wide lip rectangle. The azalea in it is a small overpriced cutting of a snow white, double flowered American hybrid Satsuki type, 'Kerrigan's Bridal Bouquet'. The azalea was the only disappointment in a 8 plant order, the rest were generous enough I'm not going to complain.

But I love the glaze, the white clay body, and the ornamentation to this little pot.

That Glaze in Reduction!

I had to do two takes and remember I didn't put red on this pot. (I broke out the red again)
