Kingsville shohin in Max Bravermann pot

Here is my Kingsville boxwood in its new Max Bravermann pot. The tree is about 8 inches tall with a 2 1/2 inch base. The pot is nice, I am collecting American pots now.

Thanks Judy. I wish I could get this tree into a more shallow pot. I tried, but it barely fits into this one. Maybe in a couple of years.

Not sure about the pot color though. I am lucky to score a few Max Braverman pots (couple from Don Blackmond actually)...they are getting difficult to find lately.

You spotted the crossing branch ! At this time the plan is to hide that flaw. Eventually I will slowly lever the two branches apart. Here is the tree after a haircut this morning. The canopy fits the pot better now.

I just may do that. Either way I will have to crank a few branches around, whether I cut one of those or just lever the two of them apart.
