Hey guys,

Relatively new to bonsai. Here's a first initial styling of some kishu whips. The tree was more of a bush when I bought it. Decided to keep three of the whips and attempted to turn it into a singular design. Any feedback from more experienced practitioners would be awesome (I know the deadwood needs work... waiting for it to dry out before shaping/refining).

Thanks

Hey, I like where this is headed. How thick is the trunk and how tall is the tree right now?

Thanks! The main trunk supporting each whip is about 1 - 1 1/2". Each whip is about half that. Tree is about 14-16 inches tall.
