Just found out from the Asheville club president that the show will be happening 15 & 16 of february. Anyone going? I will probably go, I won't be having any trees in the show since all of mine are pretty dormant.
Any update on the workshop or a vendor list? I am trying to figure out if I want to go sat night and sunday or go fri night and saturday
Cool Ill see everyone there this weekend. I ll be there late in the afternoon on saturday
The show opens at 10am for the public. Exhibitors can come in at 8 am, to set up. My tree(s) are already set up.Won't be doing the workshop, but looking forward to the show tomorrow! Staying with in laws in oak ridge tonight and will be there when the doors open tomorrow. Looking forward to meeting some other nuts.

It was a good show and Asheville wasn't far at all it took me 1 hour 40 mins, all of my trees are heeled in and I don't want to break dormancy so I had nothing to bring to the workshop. I was disappointed there was no soil at the vendors, but I added a John Cole pot to my measly collection. I was a little disappointed that Adair brought the same tree he brought to Kannapolis. I was hoping to see something else from him , but as always he filled me with more sound advice in an hour than 200 hours of Nigel Saunders you tube marathons. Maybe one day he will have a you tube channel(crosses fingers). My favorite tree wasn't about the tree but more about paying homage to Nick Lenz. I don't know if that was the intention but i liked it nonetheless.Just got back from the show. I think it is going really well and the trees are great. Unfortunately my cellphone pictures don't do them justice.
Also, I was shocked by the turnout and how fast the vendors were selling their stock. Hopefully that's a good sign for Southeast bonsai!
