Hello.
Back in May I planted some cuttings of Elms, Zelkova and Korean hornbeams. All have rooted and have new growth except the Hornbeams.
They were all planted the same way, on the same soil, in the same tray with root hormone dip.
This is my first attempt at growing hornbeam from cuttings and wanted to know they longer to root and what are your experiences growing Korean Hornbeam from cutting.

I have in the past had pretty good experience with casually putting woody stemmed cuttings in plain old potting mix and had them root. I had this planter with some potting mix in it and I had some woody stemmed plant parts I had pruned off a Korean Hornbeam and rather than throw them out I just stuck them in the pot of dirt and they rooted.

As to your cuttings if they look the way the photo shows what's the problem. Stop messing with them and let nature take its course.
