Had a dinner of pork intestine soup and rice....
Walked the dogs.....
Then decided to wire and style one of my junipers.....
The tree was collected as a 2 inch wild sapling in the mountain okay so not yamadori in the true sense of the word but still.....find that wild trees have much more stamina than propigated or field grown trees.
About three years old and less than a foot high.

You kinda made a S curve out of it - not very attractive honestly. What I would do is at the second curve on the right, between the 2nd and third branch, fold that in toward the front and down as far as it can go without cracking the trunk,Then the apex back and up, and create a more compact image with it and those pads.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. The wood is pretty supple at the moment and it already had a major bend so I didnt want to bend it all at once. Tomorrow though it shall be bent further.

I previously bent it in a hoop and let a side branch develop into a secondary apex for a few months to help thicken it before bending it into an upright....its flexible but I put it under consderable press so I dont want to snap it hehhe
