Koto's tend to grow Vertically while Kiyo's tend to grow Horizontally, both have small leaves, both sell as Dwarf's...

Here is my Koto-Hime in 2016 Fall color and 2014 Summer color...

Fall Setting is 11"H x 11"W with a 7/8" Trunk,,,Pot is 12"W x 9"D...

My Koto-Hime is Nursery bought 4 yrs ago and is 7 to 8 yrs old (I think)...

* If you have a Koto or Kiyo please post picture with comments here...

Nice little tree Bolero! Below is a kiyohime that I have had for over a decade. I nearly killed it a couple of years ago when I attempted to stall bud brake by placing it in a fridge. The dry air inside desiccated and killed all but one branch. It is now being redesigned completely out of that single branch. I also have a kotohime but I have no pics yet of it.

I have a pre-bonsai kotohime I bought from International Bonsai that I'm growing out. I plan on repotting and cutting back this spring. I'm going to try to get as many cuttings as possible too :D

First picture- as recieved, February of 2016. Second/third are of it today.

Here's my Kiyo and a Yuri Hime. They've grown well. The base of the Kiyo Hime is nice but I let the branches all grow from the same spot about 4 inches up so that will need to be dealt with.
