"LA Community Bonsai Swap Meet is held once a year at Jesse Owens Park at 7100 White Oak Ave., Reseda. Come out and enjoy a day of buying, selling or swapping bonsai trees, tools, pots and paraphernalia with the Los Angeles bonsai community. EVERYBODY is welcome and there is no charge to attend or to participate. We welcome newcomers. Please feel free to forward this page to your friends.

I'll be there! Selling the below trees and more. I'm in a mandatory reduction so I probably won't be able to swap much, unless it's like 10 for 1! lol

2018 started English Oaks (Quercus robur) in 1 gal
2021 started oaks from seed, Valley Oak (Quercus lobata), Blue Oak (Quercus douglasii), Coast Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia), Cork Oak (Quercus suber), and Scarlet Oak (Quercus coccinea)

and more! I'll probably also have other assorted odds and ends. Most of the 1 gallons will be $2-5 and the larger deciduous will be $10-$20 depending on quality. All prices will including sales tax. I hope to have a Square reader and Zelle info onsite.

I managed to get out of there with a couple shimpakus, a Brian Soldano pot, and some money still left in my bank account, so all in all a pretty good morning.

So cool and two years into Bonsai kicking it with Bob Pressler buying trees was Tommy Lee of Motley Crue the rock band. Nice seeing some of the B nuts there as well!

I'm wondering how much you might sell the oaks for (assuming you're still willing to sell)?
