Laburnum from seed then air-layered

This is a laburnum I started from seed 3 years ago, then as an experiment last year I air-layered the top of it. Here is the Mother plant

Heres the airlayer - It is flowering already!! not the best time to pot it up perhaps!!

Here its is in the new training pot- hope it survives!
