Larch Progression

I have posted about this tree the past few years, but I just realized I never made a progression 🤦‍♂️

I got this Larch in April of 2021. It was sold to me as Japanese larch, but others have said it looks like American larch (it has the weeping habit of Japanese, but people say the old flakey bark looks like American). The jury is still out since I never got any cones to ID.

Since April 2021 this tree has been:
- Carved by @Tidal Bonsai

The winter image is awesome, and I cannot wait for fresh new spring buds! Very happy with the progress!!!

I hope you took some pictures of it budding! Would love an update on this tree, larches are one of my favorites
