A while back in another thread of mine someone mentioned that larch do well in my area. Since then I've kinda become obsessed with them. Now, with all these spring larch pictures being posted the obsession has gotten worse. Does anyone know of a good place to find decent stock at a good price? I've looked everywhere...

Thank you,
Travis

Travis,
We have field-grown Japanese larch. They start at $200.
Example attached.

That's pretty nice, how big is it ? thanks.

For size reference, the root bag is 10" in diameter.
The trunk at ground level, as currently exposed, is about 2" in diameter.
The tree stands about 30" tall, but might be styled as a much smaller tree.

Its easy to become obsessed with larch... they are an incredible species.

Maybe try to find some area where you can collect american larch? Or, if you can wait until the national exhibition, there may be some collected larches available...
