It's become a yearly tradition with this Larch. It's all a bit odd since it's in completely inorganic soil.

That last Chinese elm is quite a score. It drives me crazy that I can't find them around here and the prices on eBay for the S trunked Chinese elms are ridiculous.

Indeed. I only ever found them of this quality on one visit in 15 years of looking every couple of months - and then I bought all that were of the same standard (I believe 10 of them in total.)

You've simply just got to get lucky...
