Large Tiger bark gets a styling and a it’s first pot

Hello everyone! I haven't been very active on here lately but still been doing my thing ! So here’s a Tiger bark I picked up from Robert at dragon tree , here in Florida
Was a pretty cool 3 trunk that has fused together at the bottom of the base over time . Now was time to trim it up some and try to start some shape. The other tree next to it was just for a size comparison.
Now that I can atleast see some shape now . Time go a little further and do some hard pruning an deflation and put so wire on this thing !

Now that it’s time for a pot! Let’s get too it

the tree did suffer some scrapes while I was trying to cut some large portions of trunk that were too deep . They should heal over in time . But for now that is all

Very nice! But, some lightweight left their Ultra behind.....

I love that you slammed it right in that shallow pot. Doesn't really look like any more root ball removal would be possible without cutting into your surface roots. I would like real cool just a little lower in the pot. Gotta' put one foot forwards before you get to the next....

Thanks! And to be suprised I sawzalled about 3” off the bottom , along with other downward facing roots ! I didn’t want to chop way to much off it at first . See if I can’t get some more feeder roots higher up then I’ll go in and make a better cut to get it lower in the pot . I was pretty discouraged once I took it out of the plastic pot and didn’t think I’d ever fit it in this pot . Butt I got it in and might be mounded some. It I’ll take it till next repot comes around an hopefully get it substantially lower . Will be way more aesthetically pleasing forsure. Cheers
