Have a few large Tokanome pots: Purchased from Luther Young in PA in 1980.
As the years have unfolded I've pretty much been able to 'move' my collection by myself (carrying each bonsai in terms of strength). I still do this and thank God I'm in excellent health. It now appears that I've got pretty much all that I can handle and these pots although I love them and still would like to keep them (for what!) I now can let them go to other growers who want quality Tokonome pots. No Chips, cracks or damage. One pot has been used as mentioned below with some minor conditions.
1) two pots: 25" in never used condition Med to Dark saddle color. Rings excellent
2) one pot: 23: used for 30 seasons in MI some very minor exfoliation on the interior. Some minor exterior exfoliation on exterior. Sound, rings well.
3) one pot: 18" Xi Xing never planted. new about 20yrs ago
Have seen similar at shows in prices well over $3000 for the larger (25") one. Price asking: $1200.00
$2000 (23") one: Price asking: $900.00
