leaf identification help ?

From what I seen so far it's a possible shrub with yellow/orange flowers not sure if it's native anyone have a idea of what could it be ?

We'll need more than a lead picture to help.

Where was the plant located--someone's yard? in the woods?
Pic of the actual tree with bark and base would help also, as would a pic of the flowers...

It's between me and my neighbor yard growing in between concrete the location is Alabama I have pictures but they are not in the best of quality because of the sunlight I'll post them anyway if they will help.

I think the "some kind of Sida" guess is probably accurate. This isn't a woody perennial plant per se (and if it's not backbudding and overwintering are iffy if they're even possible) I'd say using it for bonsai would probably be limited to an accent plant.
