can you point me in the direction of better ones? when i was looking around it basically seemed like the choice was between this or high powered weed lights haha
I'm running a couple of these (first winter with them; I'm happy so far):

This also seems popular:

I have a Benjamina, not the same, but close I think. Put it in a southern/ semi southern window if you have one. As the sun falls in the sky during winter the light gets stronger inside due to clearer skies in cold weather and the angle of the sun on the window improves, when it's sunny it's has more than enough sunlight to grow without artificial lights and when it snows it is almost as bright as the in the summer. Mine regularly has a second flush of growth in the winter. If the window's large it should be okay even with prolonged overcast skies.

Sweet setup! Do you use grow lights with a high PAR value?
Honestly, I have no idea what the PAR value is on these. I have not done my research. I do know that the they are 2- 48” T8 grow bulbs in the ballast. +
2- 8 watt A19 full spectrum grow bulbs in the sockets.
Much better options available, but for the price, not a bad upgrade.
