My son builds the "Ultimate Collectors Edition" series...after they started taking over the house. I decided a room to display them was in order.

With tray lighting off...I think I prefer more.

Project he is working on currently...

Sitting in shelf when not being worked on. (He trusts no one to tinker with his projects when kids visit. No one is allowed in cabinets. Much safer than on the work station)

Now THERE'S an expensive hobby. Nothing compares to the pain of stepping on a Lego...

Those are very cool though.

Indeed it can be,he first seen the Death Star (the one with the mirrors in the cabinet while at Disney...he was 9yrs. old. And it was for 16+ as well as expensive. So we got him a cheaper set for the same age group to see if he could manage it. Which he did easily. So that Christmas is when it began that was 4 years ago)...but the collectors editions hold their value or even increase in value. So it's not like some toys.

Learning there were previous sets made...my husband was obsessed in getting them all. Which are all stored in our cubby area until one is built and we pull out another one.

Can't say I've ever stepped on a Lego. Even when he was small he was very orderly when it came to his stuff...

Thanks for the kind words...
