Regarding balance, I still think I need to fill out the pad on the right and likely extend the apex more to the left. I think this will still keep the movement secure to the left, but make it look fuller and mature.

My collection is exclusively deciduous except for a few recently acquired coastal redwoods. I haven't taken the leap into pine or juniper territory yet....
Looking forward to its further development😎
also as it gets fuller and develops more finer twigging it will be cool to see it without leaves.

This is really nice, I like it a lot. Can honestly say I didn't see it coming, when I looked at the first few pictures.. Shows I have a lot more of an "eye" to develop.
I'm a fan of the lower branches on trees, for some reason but this works perfectly fine without. The tree trunk has a lot going on, character, knobbly bits, the uro you created at the lower and the wide nebari.
All of that is shown MORE, now that that branch died off. Completely happy accident.
