This is a linden I collected about 10 years ago from a neglected landscape. It has its faults, but I think it's starting to turn into something interesting. I had planned on developing it into an informal upright, but the nebari is very 2 dimensional and I noticed a root that dropped from the lowest branch, and now I'm thinking about going with a raft type tree. I'm concerned that the drop root could rob the branch of any taiper it has, on the other hand I do kinda like it. Either way root grafts are definitely planned for next spring. Looking for advice on this one plus recommendations for simulation apps. Wat do you all use?

yeh with those shoots coming off the long root it is giving potentiol raft vibes. this is a perfect example of the term, 'let the tree tell you what it wants to be' ...could be an interesting piece
This Harry harrington Elm raft has a similar vibe
