Remember this very long Pinus sylvestris?
I've bought some 6mm wire and gave it a spin after repotting.
I left all the old needles.
Aftercare tips?

It's going to catch a lot of wind! I would connect a guy wire to the 6mm wire somewhere strategically (2 or 3 points) and tie it to the pot just to make sure it doesn't move too much for the first season.

I like the movement you wired into it. Bold move wiring up a trunk after repot, like WGW said, don't let that thing get blown around
