Little Pyracantha

This pyracantha is about seven inches tall. It was grown in the ground for three or four years. In the next photo I take I will turn it about30 degrees to the right. I'll put it in a pot next year if I decide to keep it.

Nice start on this little guy. Will you consider carving the stump of the removed low branch on the right more smoothly?

Sure. I'll consider anything if it lives I have a problem keeping pyracantha alive.... I have a problem with fire blight. There m st be a source plant or tree in the yard or neighborhood, but I can't identify it.

I'd cut that stub near the base flush with the trunk ASAP or it will leave a mess there. Also, next time you repot, wire those roots so they move outward and to the sides, rather than inward and to the front.
