I was looking at Mr Maple.com and saw they had some C. "Spiralis". Very nice, tight and twisty foliage. I've had one for almost ten years and it's the first I've seen offered of this variety. I'd definitely get another, been just a pleasure to work with.

I believe most cryptomeria will take well from cuttings if you can find one at a garden center

I have seedlings going....They should make seedling cuttings like the pines.I will try in a few days.......incredibly slow starts.....even in 1300ppm of co2.
It is hard to get complience to ship new varities during the so called covid situation......so if they do good maybe can sell some eventually.

I just got the monthly newsletter from Forest Farm and it's all about dwarf conifers. There are a few Cryptomeria in the list of trees available.
