What type of baggies are those?
When I worked in plant breeding lab we used different types for different purposes.
Dialysis tubing bags to exclude pollen but not retain humidity.
Thin plastic bags to let more light in, thick for less.
There you go, going all scientific on me! Clear plastic sandwich type baggies
One could use the new polyfilm type grafting tape but that is a lot of work
If shade is required masking tape placed appropriately. ( Blue or Green) no duct tape allowed!
If you wish to rehydrate? syringe. ( I use the one that comes with Wood Doctor Chair Glue )
Special additional tip. If a bit loose on bottom tied portion than excess rehydration will drain out, but still sufficient will be retained by sphagnum moss inside baggy. Only add if the condensation disappears from the inside of the baggie!
Cutting placed angled toward centre of pot but leaned on edge of pot to keep stable until roots form.
Angled to allow even distribution of roots and form some movement to the side for future development, rather than straight up. ( self explanatory)
Larger pot used to prevent frequent repotting for difficult to establish species. ( cuttings often fail at this extra step)
Particularly useful in warmer drier climates!
