Walked in the place around 5:55 and they announced the 25% off sale was ending at 6:00 and you had to be in line at or before 6:00....I walked straight back to the flower pot shelf and there was 4 nice bonsai pots.....Snatched them up and made it in line before 6:00.....Less than 10 bucks out the door. They are nothing special but a nice add to my collection...Now I just need more trees. The Budlight is for scale only they didn't come with a free 6 pack.

Brian,

That is an awesome score. There are deals everywhere if you have time to look.

My first turntable is an Ikea Lazy Susan bought from Goodwill for $0.50 :D Served me well and still do.

I also bought a steel rotating bar stool that I use for the same purpose for $7.00. Not the prettiest, but handles the heaviest materials I have w/o any problem.

Do you even go to Goodwill? ;) :p
Not only do I do Goodwill...I even got a gift certificate in my stocking to Goodwill!

Lol when you live in a rural area...Goodwill is the only store you can shop in other than an antique store and craft/primitive stores (two of those) and a five and dime store. Small town...must drive 45 minutes to a place to buy a good birthday gift. Thus why I do a lot of online shopping for Christmas.

Remember the show "Cheers"? Well it's like that when I walk into Goodwill.

well played.
you may want to address the corner indents on the pot front and centre, by either building up to fill (with some marine putty) or drilling a small drainage hole through each one.
that, or take exaggerated care when watering to fend off pooling in those built in reservoirs.

Last time I walked into a Goodwill was in Springfield Ohio 2 years ago. I wanted a cheap long sleeve shirt as I was spraying asphalt on a wood sided barn and my work shirt was missing. The cheapest long sleeve shirt they had was a plaid flannel for $14 bucks ! I went across the street to wal-mart figuring for that price I would get something new. Got a nice denim one for $12.

Sadly...some things they have...are ridiculous priced. But...I love the hunt. One just never knows what one will find there.
