For this one, I took the advice of @Adair M and used two rebars - one to anchor the lower trunk close to the soil and the other to create a sharp bend in the rest of the trunk. I’m going to do this in stages, slowly creating the sharp bend I desire over time. The guy wire is anchored to the lower part of the pot on the other side with a screw.

I'm very curious how sharp you plan to make that bend, and how you're going to do it. Wedge cut? Kerf cuts?

Cant do that on a juniper. You can split the branch with a branch splitter tool to help the bend though.
