There's a view looking down on the top, then the back, then the front.
Next spring I'll reduce the roots again and drop it into a smaller pot.
This tree was munched down to this height, deer or rabbit, and it just has been growing sideways ever since and I just followed it's lead.

Here's a little JM mame I'm working on, curious to see if anyone else is working with JM mame's.

Here is one of mine. From seed, about ten years old now. It's 9,5 cm above the pot. Little less than 4''.

This is my mame Japanese maple. It is 8,5 cm above the pot. That is little over 3 inches. The small pot is handmade.
It's leafing out. Every second pair of leaves are pinched. When the leaves are fully grown , little will probably happen for the rest of the summer .
