Folks,

in trying to aid Sorce in his pottery, I later sat outside and watched the pines,
this came to me --------------------

Man I love being retired!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apart from my private projects in my lab.

As Bonsai goes ----------

Soil - we will be making more of the Leca type earthenware balls.
compost ready for sifting.
A hill next to us in the north is just gravel for sifting.

Plants ------- the troughs are producing 3 inch trunks and larger
every year with 6 branches.

Pots - clay and more clay for hand built shapes.

The only really cost will be fertiliser and then we are exploring fermented
soybean.

So we are independent and RETIRED.

BIG PRAYER ------------ HEALTH please last

And as I warned you, this time of the year, we go insanely happy !!!!!!!
Great Day to All,
Anthony

Colander - 1 year - Chlorophora t
Test and already another in the trough trying for 5 inches.

I remember when my father retired at age 53. Within the first few months we got cable TV(never had it before), air conditioning(never had it before) and two big recliners....retirement sure seems nice. Maybe one day I'll know.

@Nybonsai12 ,

Got rid of cable 4 years ago, too many shows in Espanol.
House faces east, around 160 feet high and is breezy. Roof is white
and K's [ brother-in-law ] house blocks the western sun, with house
and bamboo hedge.
Never needed an air conditioner, been here since 1971. I am 54
retired at 50.

The only gift I gave myself was .................. a big meal at a Chinese
restaurant, with 6 family members.

The tendency to make is enhanced by having a neighbour who also
makes things. Lessens the tendency to purchase, so exciting to
make things.

Thanks for responding.
Good Day
Anthony

it's funny he purchased cable TV solely for business channels to manager financial investments. My father can't see neighbors from his home as the property is secluded. trees on all sides so no breeze, only heat and humidity during peak summer days. He spent his younger days making things, furniture, building on our house etc... paying attention to neighbors isn't his thing. relaxing is his thing now.
