Is this from the sun or nutrient burn. I have it in the sun until about 1pm then it’s shaded

I bought a little maple like this with a bunch of burnt leaves for cheap, it's been up around 100f here. I decided to leave it in full sun all day. I water it probably 3 times a day when my moisture meter says low moist, it's in a nursery pot I decided to leave it in to let it get healthy. It's now very happy and even had some cute pink little new leaves. They seem very happy to take whatever heat and sun with enough water. I also mist it whenever I get an urge to mess with my trees.
