Is the cultivar bonfire the same as seigen? I thought they were, but I'm not getting the spring red, wondering if they sent me the wrong tree, anyone have this cultivar?
my bonfire is a brighter red in spring than both my deshojo and shin-deshojo..it also has a smaller leaf size....all 3 are landscape plants, not bonsai... no idea about the seigen relationship.
