Oh I forgot to say, just placed for reading interest ---------- nothing to do with Masakuni is the best - yadda yadda yadda.

As I often state, the concave pruner is to cut matchstick/ toothpick shoots, for that purpose any concave pruner can be
used, as exemplified by the $12.00 to $ 8.00 US concave pruners available on Amazon.
Which we the cheapos have purchased.:)

* Just to match another post on soil ingredients - our bag of pre-sifted 5mm gravel at 100 lbs costs $7.00 US

I call it being frugal Anthony. When I saw the title I thought maybe you bought some Masakuni cutters. I was prepared to be shocked knowing how tight you and K are. I just figured you guys made your own cutters. You make everything else.
You're right too. I only use the 8"concave cutters on pencil size branches. But I want a big honking pair of them too.
