Most know my living lake front I felt that frogs would be the best outside decor accent. So I'm drawn to frog accents for bonsai of course as well. After being told of my longer house confinement (medical issues)...I decided I needed a pick me up. Not for everyone...My friend Barb thinks it's ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! lol Gotta love honesty. Good thing she can't see it from her backyard in Florida. 🙃
Philippe Torcatis is the potter...from France I believe. Picked it up over on Bonsai Pot Auctions. I'm thinking dwarf horsetail for the pot. Love that accent plant. Pot size Ø14 cm X H 5 cm

I like the blue glaze, the frogs, not so much. Sorry😉
Totally get it...Not for everyone. Which...happens to be my style A LOT! lol "Bonsai 303" Adair once commented on my direction. What a compliment that was...because I am a bit of an oddity...and I think highly of Adair.

Very original !

Torcatis is a French potter , i ordered him a lot of pots because i really like his style .
There is a lot of creativity in his pottery , yours is one of the most amazing in his catalog .

He's new to me...I have a feeling if I look into him I could find myself in trouble. And I'm already commissioned a pot for my trident clump...and pyracantha. So I gotta be good. But...This was a splurge...Maybe when I build my bonsai kitty back up I will take a look. I keep thinking...He has a catalog...He did mention something in messenger. I was afraid to look. But curiosity...kills the cat.

For some perspective, these frogs are the size of your thumbnail :)
Actually, no. We have a zoo already. Chinchilla, two ornate wood turtles that are 19 years old...a painted turtle. One pastel ball python...three dogs...An Aussie and two bulldogs. I think I'm good on pets. lol but...living at the lake we have them in our waterfall all the time. As in the yard constantly.
