Soooo I think. Tree in the yard has Mealybugs. Its a regular sized huge tree so rubbing every leaf down with neem oil is not an option.

I mainly don't want the problem spreading over to my trees.

Should I just cut it all off and burn it as best as possible?

I used this on a plum tree that had a bad aphid infestation, it wiped em out after several days and the tree is looking great again.

I use this stuff on my azaleas sometimes, it works. But you mentioned a plum tree, a bonsai? If not, I will have to read the info again, but I don't think you are supposed to use this on edible fruit and nut trees, or edible plants. It won't harm the plant, but won't be good for consumption. Check the label out, I could be wrong.

No it's a flowering plum no fruit and not a bonsai. The thing that I like about it is it will supposedly last up to a year apply in the spring and Done.......hopefully .
