Hello to All,
I visited Meehan's Miniatures for the second time recently and wanted to share the positive experience, they are located in Western Maryland, Rohrersville close to Frederick.
The nursery has many varieties of plants and trees for bonsai in different sizes at very reasonable prices. Also many tropicals are available as well as finished bonsai. (I think tropical plants are one of their specialties.)
I met Martha Meehan who was very kind and willing to take time to share her knowledge even though she was very busy. On a previous visit I dealt with one of her employees and he was also great, couldn't do enough to help.
They have a website but it doesn't do justice to their stock. In actuality they have a substantial inventory of larger trees which aren't featured on their site.
Just wanted to recognize and recommend them as good folks with great products.
