G'day all,
this is a melaleuca which was collected in April 2014.
This is the progress/process of getting it into shape over the last 2 and a bit years,

I decided that the very best option which I wanted to pursue was Not multiple trunks with all around the same thickness so I took some out of the equation.Planted into a large pot with good medium.

Tree recovers very nicely.

Bringing it up to now 24-7-2016, Looking really in need of some work.

So I went to town on it.
Removal of foliage ,the new shoots are near ready to burst so this is quite safe.
Some extra carving work and some wiring work also.

The Tree needed a repot the most so this was done also. The Tree will be kept out of strong winds etc and should be leafed out again soon.

It's truely come along way and shows promise for this Year.

Thanks for following along, I will post pics again when in leaf.

Have a Great day!! Regards Craig

I haven't a better pic but this looks up the deadwood/carved area after 1st treatment(not this time)

and this is a Melaleuca in the wild with the center burnt out from bushfire.

Aiming to in effect capture the essence of these trees in their Natural habitat,
thanks again,
