Some photos I took, but nowhere near comprehensive of all the cool stuff. I could upload the rest later if you'd like.

By the way, anyone have recommendations for a bonsai club near New York City? There's several in NJ/CT within an hours drive, so I'm trying to figure out which one would be good for a beginner

Thanks for the pics...
I am relatively new as well and live in Rockland County (lower Hudson Valley) and just recently started to attend Yama Ki Bonsai Society http://www.yamakibonsai.org/ . They have great workshops, guests, demos and vendors from what I can tell from my initial interactions. I have also wanted to check out the Bergen Bonsai Society http://www.bergenbonsai.com/ as I have heard some good things about them as well. Good luck and let us know if you find a nice "home" club.

If you check the Mid Atlantic website, if not already there, there will be club contact info available.
Yama Ki, and there is also a club in New Haven.
