Mites

Do spider mites feed on all trees or specifically evergreen types? They got an Italian Cypress. I treated in 2nd wk of March but may have been too late.

Not sure about spider mites specifically but mites do feed on a wide range of species. I battle one type each year on sweet potato cuttings growing indoors before being planted out in summer.

We have pretty mild winters. Are these guys active year round?

Usually less active in winter and in the heat of summer but your winter may be warm enough for them to keep going.
