Hi All,

Just about to remove my Capressus Marcocarpa from the fridge, seeds are germinating and sprouting. Because it’s starting to warm up, I’m going to start them in my controlled little grow room until they are ready to move outside.

Looking for some indoor seed starting knowledge. For a Cypress, would it be best to start them in little seed starting trays that have individual cells, or in “bigger” say, 4” containers?

Thanks in advance for the information!

If you have seeds germinating you are ahead of the curve. Bonsai is a couple years off.
Yeah I’m starting all my bonsai from my material. Learning about the care first and maybe one day when I deserve it, I’ll buy some good material. At that point I’ll have all my own material to gaze and reflect upon!
