If I were to ever get there I would be a human ping pong ball bouncing from tree to tree! Had they fewer, I'd bring a chair to spend the day!
A possibly interesting trivia item is that Anacortes = Anne Curtis, because of a clerical error about 1890 when the town was founded by her surveyor husband, Amos Bowman. Some members of Anne's family lived in Montreal, outside of which is a place called Cap Sante on the Saint Laurence. Anacortes has a Cap Sante as well. It was donated by the Curtis family to the city and continues to be a park that overlooks the town. I'm told it is a similar geologic feature, though smaller in scale than the real thing outside Montreal. Needless to say, there is no such collection of beautiful bonsai in Anacortes (though I am working on it, in my dreams ).
