I bought this big ol tub of tree seal from Lowes the other day. It cost like 5 bucks. Has anyone ever used Morrison's tree seal? I will post a pic later when I can

Good old black tar tree seal. Used to use it by the gallons growing up on the prune orchard. Nowadays I prefer cut paste made for bonsai. I'm sure the black stuff works fine. Its just ugly.

I have used it and would say that the only negative points to
it would be 2 things...
The color, cause it is black, so it will stand out. No worse I guess
than some of the bright orange colored sealers that are out there.
The second, this stuff takes a very long time to wear off, so I wouldn't
use it on any thing that you plan on showing anytime soon...
Other than that... it works really good.
Great for coating the inside of those wooden grow boxes !!!
