Nice little tree developing. Picking off the flowers now as it is ever bearing. No bar branches…but it still caught me sleeping.
Do you think planting on a tile is a quick fix or will I need to remove the lowest branch and take some off the corner? First 2 picks, right branch.261D7AF3-CDE4-457C-B5E6-64B855F2E8FD.jpegDCEB973E-D0E1-4E6D-9BB6-21E13FABDEA3.jpegE0CB3EDE-1380-43FE-B642-9340545A30C7.jpeg2E7F73D0-215F-42BD-8AB5-645C325ED9B8.jpegBD5CBC09-3AD0-44DC-B3D6-2A12063917A2.jpegBD5CBC09-3AD0-44DC-B3D6-2A12063917A2.jpeg

Growing on a board or getting a great radial nebari by pruning will help the lowest part of the trunk expand and flare but does not usually affect higher up.

I would just be letting the trunk expand naturally and hope for the best. Small inverse taper often grows out as the trunk thickens.
