Does anyone have one?
I saw one in a show house the other day and figured it would be cool to keep on my desk since moss can get away with less light, then I saw how much they cost then I figured I could just make my own.

So I shredded some moss and it’s getting established

I’m hoping the pebbles and rough bits help to create some interesting texture

I don’t currently but have had them in the past. I find them to be calming.

I grow moss and have a little part of the yard we grow different types. Fern moss is really cool!

I've got a couple of outdoor ones, might add more moss to my terrace one today.
Looks like crop of Irish/false moss which is insidious weed. Once established VERY hard to get rid of. If producing tiny white flowers you are sunk/it has reproduced

Its Scleranthus biflorus in the middle of the top picture
A New Zealand native grass that I adore and plan to use in future rock Gardens.

At first glance I thought the same thing but that one is too tight and mounded to be Irish moss.
Scleranthus is also native to Australia. I've found it difficult to maintain longer term but lovely while they last for the tight green cushion look.
