Mountain Hemlock First Styling Attempt

Here is a before and after of another yamadori Mountain Hemlock. Not from the same vantage point. Have lived and studied it over the last few years and have started the initial styling, will complete it this later in the year. Extra branches left on and foliage pads will need further refinement.

Hemlock is my favorite native conifer but I am on the east coast and this one is new to me. Does anyone know where you can buy one?

They are great, lots of great ones have been transported to the Portland area. Not sure about removing that branch....?

Anton is quite a name now, since Portland has a thirst for Van island yamadori.
