This mugo was repotted last year midsummer, it took a little bit of a hit with the brown needles but it came on strong this spring. A huge mistake was not tying it into the basket well, it was blown off and found laying on the ground, I put it back in the basket and put as much of the soil back in. Question, should I leave it as is, add some new bonsai soil on top and keep an eye on it? I was following Vances mugo plan but Im sure this will cause some problems. Thanks in advance

Put more soil in to cover roots. If it did not dry out it will be ok.

You might not notice.

Aye more soil!

You can always push BBQ skewers through the mesh to hold it in, or copper, or chopsticks, etc.
