Nice first start! I like the curve of the trunk so far.

I’m wondering what your plan is for the 4 branch “wheel spoke” area on the second from bottom tier of branches.

Here's the thing, I removed so much foliage, and roots, I thought to myself I have to leave some to help with recovery, to help the tree photosynthesise , this more than likely will come off in time, down to three branches. Now, I'm Not sure if to place tree in shade now, the sun is cooling down now, autumn is here. So sun may be OK. Also its a mugo Orphir dwarf, so extremely slow growing. Thanks.

No worries, I was just curious on how you were thinking of proceeding after the tree weathers the winter.

I've got a Mugo I've really cut back this year. Its back budding a good bit, but is a couple years from moving to the next step. So I'm watching to get some ideas.

Don't know if you have seen this resource by @Vance Wood on Mugos, but if not, would is a good read! :)
