I'm not the guy to ask about conifers, but there are MANY very experienced folks here..

I feel you'd have better luck, RE posting this in the 'New to Bonsai' or 'Pines' section...

...Because 'as is' you have posted in the tree SELLING forum.

I would post it in the pines section.

That said, it looks like you wired and pruned it some already.
Id suggest you leave it be until next year and figure out what is next for it.
Honestly I would repot it next year into a better training pot and soil.
