I recently got this Pinus Mugo Heideperle.


The first two branches are quite thick. Tried getting some movement but alas.


I am wondering what I can do to - suggestions please?

Remove central trunk. All will become clearer.

Potawatomi suggested removing the central trunk. Is that the Only option? Just wing it suggested to remove at least one. Looking forward to your suggestions folks

I would NOT remove the center trunk. The super obtuse angle would be ugly as hell.

I'd remove (jin to start) either the one of the right or on the left, depending on the angle you think of planting the tree at. From what I can see, the right trunk seem to have the longest straight/undivided section, so this could be the one to get rid of.
