what a chunker

I took one in on a trade, a 15 gallon twin trunk with a trunk diameter of about 8" and about 18" tall. You will find that it is an exceptionally fast grower. I thread grafted a limb at a better spot and angle, the thread graft was 100% by the second year. The mature leaves get quite large, however they will reduce to a quite small size. It is not my favorite tree but i am having fun with it and learning. If you have it in a nursery pot on the ground make sure you lift it and turn it quite often as it will root solid in the ground quick! Good Luck with it and have Fun!

that's why I'm not using the nursery pot anymore, I did it only for isolation. so for now the plant is on the ground. I'm using carpet to make it a temporary pot, so I can maintain the roots

What is your ultimate plan for branching and foliage? Seems the trunk is developed and primary branching should be focus?
