Did a workshop, picked up the Chinzan in the grow bag, got the larger satsuki on Facebook, little guy was eaten by deer, just coming back around... Just putting new pics together, seemed like good excuse to post.

He seems good, we all did dinner and drinks after the first day of the show - maybe the third time I've seen his demos, workshops, always learn something. He and Chase Rosade judged the trees and did a walkthrough tour after - my highlight.That Chinzan looks familiar. How is Jim?

Yeah...Critiques are always my favorite part as well. That table full of azaleas were developed in my garden.
I meant to ask about the material, really excited to have this one in my collection - nice work. I followed them for about 45 min, listening to what they thought, how they judged each tree - I always picked up on something that I didn't consider, a positive about a tree that I didn't catch. Good stuff.
