I think you better grow her out some before you consider doing any styling... 
She is beautiful ! My baby girl is 22 years old and getting married this October, unlike your Bonsai, with your children you turn around one day and they are grown up. It seems like just yesterday I was showing my bald baby girl off to the nurses in the hospital, I had bought her a Martha miniature dress with matching socks, a matching ruffled diaper cover and a hair bow which we could not use as she had no hair, a few hours later was her first day in school, she no sooner got home and she was 11 years old an announced to me that she was now a woman and too old to walk the dog and her little brother would be taking over, that afternoon she met a man tomorrow she will be getting married ! Believe me, it goes that fast.
May God bless your girl throughout her life with all the best life has to offer as she deserves and may you be blessed by the time you have with her.
